The Dark Mills Festival is the premier alternative music, arts and culture festival held every year in London, presented by medient live, the company’s newly launched events division.

The festival focuses on showcasing the best talent coming out of the alternative scene and creating a cultural hub where people on the scene can connect over live music and much more including dramatic theatre shows, art exhibitions, street performance acts, burlesque, films and talks.

Over two years now Dark Mills has featured established names including Adam Ant, The Eden House, Eileen Daly and the Courtesans and many more. Legendary film fantasy artists and armourers such as Chris Achilleos, Graham Humphrys and Terry English have displayed their work and given talks, notorious performers Satanic Sluts and sell out shows from Second Skin Theatre. There have been special interviews from veteran horror film makers such as Bob Keen, Bill Hobbs, Anthony Hickox, Michael Armstrong and Barbie Wilde all hosted by the gorgeously gothic Dr. Patricia McCormak of the BFI and Empire Magazine.
